How We Came to Be:
Johns Palms began as 5 acre nursery in the Citrus Park area many, many years ago, when Carrollwood Village was an infant community and New Tampa wasnt even on the developers minds. John Mosbaugh sold the business to Chuck Harding, my father, in 1991, and a second family business was born. I managed and operated the palm farm for 10 years while my Dad continued to run the other landscape and maintenance business, Florida Landcare. Eventually, both businesses merged, and together, we operated Johns Palms as a family business until Chucks death of lung cancer in 2002. We believed then, and still do today, that the longevity and success of our business can be accredited to our desire to offer top quality products and services at a fair and competitive price.
The palm farm became a part of Citrus Parks past when development grew up around the mall. Today, while we no longer have the nursery, we continue to specialize in palms and offer our expertise to our clients. Just as we have for almost 20 years, we still provide complete and customized landscape services to fit all of your needs. Our employees are a team of trained professionals that have been a part of Johns Palms for many years and are concerned about quality and customer satisfaction. We have long term relationships with our suppliers who understand our commitment to quality in the products that we provide to our clients. And, most importantly, we have a valued relationship with our customers who support us with repeat business and by referring us to their friends and neighbors.
